This is a full-service curriculum. Meaning you don't need to add in any other history supplements. Some other key notes to add about Notgrass:

• There are lessons designed for every grade level. 
• Notgrass offers additional resources to help with homeschooling as a whole. ( Which is super fantastic by the way. If you are struggling with homeschooling in the first place, there isn't going to be enough time for history.)
• The website is easy to explore. The resources they provide are clear and concise and there really isn't a lot for you to have to wade through.
